Mysterious fevers and things you thought only existed on tv

There is a mysterious fever going through members of our household. What is strange is it is a symptomless fever. No runny nose, aches, pains, nothing. A slight headache and being a bit tired. That's it. Joel's had it twice now, Mackenzie and I each had it once. I am almost out of Children's Tylenol now.
You know on those kids sitcoms back in the day, like Saved by the Bell and Head of the class, there was always a team of smart kids that then battled other schools in knowledge tournaments? We never had that in my schools that I'm aware of. I figured it was something made up for television to show competition outside of sports. Anyway, it exists. Here its called quiz bowl, and Joey was selected for his school's team. They didn't win, but they made a fairly decent showing. He was pretty excited about being a part of it. Just thought I'd share.
Mackenzie and a friend in her class are so far ahead in math, her teacher has let them move ahead on their own. But she didn't test into the gifted and talented program. I don't get it. Tests are stupid, and I've always thought so.
