Memories part 3

Here is a crowd pleaser! How many hours did I waste sitting in a Denny's drinking a Coke? And eating mozzarella sticks? And trying to develop a taste for coffee (wasn't gonna happen). It was the meeting point, the hangout, the round up at the end of the night. And sometimes even the hideout. Or just the place to sit and laugh about the night's adverntures (like tp'ing someone's house....), or the place to go when you've been on a plane for several hours and your friends tagged along with your parents to meet you at the airport and you're pregnant and starving. I miss Denny's, we don't have any out here, but we do have Waffle House. Not quite the same, but still a good place to go at the end of the night.

well first off, NO WONDER YOU DON'T LIKE COFFEE!!! denny's coffee isn't to be 'liked'. you just drink it cuz it's there. it's horrid stuff!

secondly, you have no idea how often i find myself wanting to default to this, even with my 'grown up' friends. although i have to say, my neck of the woods is sorely lacking in an establishment of this sort. kirkland has both denny's and shari's still, but woodinville has neither and same with redmond.

thirdly, will you PLEASE go eat a blt and some hashbrowns - and wash it down with a sweet tea for me?

Ok, first, do you really think Denny's was the only coffee I tried?
Second, I know how you feel. My kids helped with that, they love Denny's and there was one in Sylvania on the way to my parent's house from mine in Lake Stevens.
Third, I'll get right on that, minus the sweet tea, I'll have Wes drink that for you.
